Terms of service

Last updated 2026-10-19

These terms are an agreement between you and Jenny Ouyang, doing business as Build to Launch ("we"). They cover the Build to Launch websites, the community, the store, the MCP and the tools. When you use them or buy from them, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.

Who can use Build to Launch

You must be 18 or older. Your account is for you alone. Keep your sign-in links and your connection key private, because anyone who has them can act as you.

What you buy

  • Kits and downloads: files you download and keep. You may use them in your own work and your own business. You may not resell them or share the files publicly.
  • Sprints and cohorts: live sessions on fixed dates, with the materials that come with them.
  • Membership: access to the member library, the community and member sessions while your membership is active.
  • Strategy calls: one call with Jenny, booked through Cal.com.

Prices are in US dollars. Stripe takes the payment. Taxes are added where the law requires.

Refunds and cancellation

  • Kits and downloads: no refund after you get access, unless a file is broken or missing and we cannot fix it. Then you get a full refund.
  • Sprints and cohorts: a full refund if you ask before the start date. No refund after the start date.
  • Membership: cancel any time. Email [email protected] and we cancel it for you. You keep access to the end of the period you paid for. We do not refund part of a period. Paid newsletter subscriptions on Substack follow Substack's rules.
  • Strategy calls: you can move your call once. If you miss the call without moving it, the call counts as used.

To ask for a refund, email [email protected] from the address you bought with.

Buyers in the EU and the UK: you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For kits and downloads, at checkout you ask for immediate access and agree that you lose this right once access starts. For sprints and cohorts, the full refund until the start date still applies. Nothing in these terms removes a right that the law of your country gives you and that a contract cannot take away.

The community and the feedback board

The feedback board is public. Anyone can read what is posted there, with your display name, including feedback you send through the Build to Launch MCP (the connector that lets your AI app use our library) from your AI app. Do not post anything there that you want to keep private.

Other community posts are visible to members. Be kind, stay on topic and do not post other people's private data. We may remove posts or close accounts that break these rules.

Your content and ours

You own what you post and what you save, such as your personal skills. You give us permission to store it and to show it where you posted it, only to run Build to Launch. You can delete it.

We own the guides, kits, courses, recordings and tools. Your purchase or membership gives you a personal license to use them. It does not give you the right to copy them into another product or course.

The MCP and AI tools

The MCP and the tools give your AI app guides and checks. AI output can be wrong. Check it before you rely on it, and do not use it as legal, medical or financial advice. Your AI app (for example Claude or ChatGPT) has its own terms.

Things you may not do

  • break the law, or help someone else break it
  • try to get into accounts, data or systems that are not yours
  • send automated traffic that slows the service down, or scrape the library
  • share your account, your connection key or paid files with people who did not pay

Warranty and liability

We work hard to keep Build to Launch useful and online, but we provide it "as is", without a promise that it is free of errors or always available. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them.

Ending

You can stop using Build to Launch at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Law and disputes

California law governs these terms, and the state and federal courts in California decide disputes. If you live in the EU or the UK, you also keep the protection of the consumer law of your country and can use its courts. Please email [email protected] first. Most problems are solved by one email.
